Juniper Bar + Kitchen, a 3000 square foot, 100+ seat farm-to-table restaurant in Vancouver’s vibrant Chinatown neighbourhood was born from a passion for the flavours of the Pacific Northwest.

Originally conceived as a small-batch craft distillery focused on producing regionally-inspired spirits in the DTES, Juniper evolved during the visioning process to become a platform for sharing curated spirits and seasonally influenced food and beverage with a focus on Cascadian flavours, makers and producers.

My participation in the project as an owner and Creative Director began with the initial vision and brand strategy and was carried through to the business planning process, architectural consultation, materials selection, branding and social media management, PR liaison, menu consultation and execution of a lengthy list of design and communication deliverables. I sourced works and goods from the artists, makers and providers who contributed local works and goods to the space, as well as the photographers, PR team, music curator and other providers who helped to bring this project to market.
